Our lovely Leader/Librarian, Tosha Penkrot, was featured on 13 News for educating students on how to code robotics.

Pictured above are Nansemond Parkway Elementary School students in Suffolk, VA who participate in Sphero Club. They meet twice a week during the school day in small groups. Students use block programming to code the Sphero robots using angles.

Pictured below are students producing pixel art during library resource time. This is an CS Unplugged activity where students use tiny square stickers to produce works of art. This is essentially the 21st century version of paint by numbers!
